Teen Read Week is a national literacy initiative held each year during the third week of October. At Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, we offer top-notch access to literacy programs and services year- round, but TRW is your chance to sample all of our literacy programs compacted into just one short week.
Why celebrate? Reading is free, fun, and you can do it anywhere! (Plus, reading can help boost your test scores and you’ll be more likely to succeed when it’s time to get a job.) So come out and help us celebrate Teen Read Week in October with free programs, workshops, classes, and other special events for teens 12-18.
Be sure to Seek the Unknown @ your library during Teen Read Week and check out one of these programs.
