This online resource is free if you have a library card from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. You can take ACT, SAT, and GED practice tests as well as improve on skills such as Math and Reading. No pressure-you can take the practice tests when it’s convenient for you. - Live Homework Help.
You can instant message an online tutor in a variety of subject areas such as Math, Essay Writing, or even SAT prep. Tutors are available for free in English and Spanish from 4pm-10pm EST. Stay tuned for more information on this site. The library is planning a series of programs with community partners starting in the Fall that will be held at branches throughout the system.
